Chandi Devi Temple is situated on the hill of Neel Parvat close to this national park situated on the banks of Ganga River was built in 1929 by Suchat Singh. People believed that in 8th centuary Adi Shankaracharya established the great idol of Goddess Chandi Devi in this temple. There is an astonishing chandi Ghat situated nearby. This name of temple was originated after an incident. People believed that in this region Chandika Devi killed Chanda Munda. Flock of devotees could be seen here.
