Tipu Sultan's Palace in Bangalore is located within the premises of Tipu Sultan Fort near Kalasipalyam Bus Station. Now it has been modified into museum. The construction of the palace was started by Hyder Ali and completed in 1791 by Tipu Sultan. This beautiful palace was used by the British Administration before shifting to Attara Kacheri in 1868 after the death of Tipu Sultan. The British Administration auctioned the parts of palace but it was unable for any person to buy because it was so expensive.

The palace is made up of teak wood adorned with beautiful balconies, pillars and arches. People believed that Tipu Sultan used to conduct his court over the balconies. Appealing motifs adorned on the walls can be seen. The four small rooms on first floor situated in the corner were known as Zenana Quarters. Amazing paintings on the wall can also be viewed. You can see the ground floor rooms which are now been converted into a museum. You can also view the clothes of Tipu Sultan and silver vessels of Hyder ali within the summer residence.
