Taj Mahal Agra was built by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal in 1653. Taj Mahal have a height of about 160 feet situated above the banks of Yamuna river. The construction of this tomb was done by many methods like post and beam system of pulley which was used to place the bricks and rocks into the desired position, usage of elephants to transfer material from one place to another and usage of 'Purs' was a water preserver used to place water in desired position pulled by animals through a rope. This monument was constructed using many precious materials that were bought from all over the world such as White beauteous marbles from Makrana, Punjab's jasper, Tibet's turquoise, china's glittering crystals, Arabia's Carnalian etc. Thus, due to such a long time of construction of this tomb it became very costly.

This splendor and marvelous Mahal is a wonder of seven wonders all over the world. The place contains many variations of monuments and structures like Shah Jahan's tomb and Mumtaz's tomb. Thus, Agra Taj Mahal was made up of unique styles and designs. Taj Agra took 22 years to complete, from year 1630 to year 1652 and was built by about 20,000 workers, jewelry designers and masons and completely managed and built by Ustād 'Īsā (Persian architect). It was believed that after completing this Taj Mahal in Agra, Shah Jahan cutted the hands of the Persian architect so that a structure like this Mahal should never be built in future. You can see fabulous gardens and fountains where this monument is placed. Shah Jahan used to see his beloved wife's Mahal and memorize her every time.

It is built directly in front of Agra Fort. At that time Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb and when Shah Jahan wanted to make his own Mahal same as Taj Mahal but in black color after his death but Aurangzeb denied for its construction. You can see its remains are still present at the back side of Taj Mahal.

Agra fort in Agra was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 popularly known as 'Lal Quila' or 'Red fort'. Red Fort Agra is a royal premise was the main residence for Mughal emperors namely Akbar, Jahangir and Shah Jahan. The fort is 70 feet high and semicircular. It covers a vast area of 94 acres. There are four gates in the fort in which one gate opens to the river namely Khizri gate and other gates are quite popular namely Delhi gate and Lahore gate. Thus, Delhi gate is very huge was made by king Akbar in 1568.

It was a former gate build for security and made up of beautiful white marbles and wooden work. People are not allowed to enter through this gate. Lahore gate was also known as Amar Singh gate named after Amar Singh Rathore and later it was popularly known as Akbar Gate. Tourists enter red fort only through this gate. There is also a gate known as Elephant Gate was also made for security. The two huge elephants with their riders used to stand there. Agra Red Fort comprises of many complexes, mosques, pavilions, beautiful lawns, appealing fountains, beauteous gardens, Harems (private rooms) of kings and their queens etc.

The fort also comprises of Mughal precious architectural designs made up of gold, silver, various pearls, diamonds and so on. The outer wall of the premises is made up of red bricks. The main attractions of Red Fort Agra are mirrored palace known as 'Shish Mahal', Diwan-e-Khas, Diwan-e-Am, Anguri Bagh, Mausamman Burj, Nagina Masjid, Moti Masjid etc. Some of the places inside the fort were destroyed by Britishers (1803 – 1862). Buland Darwaza in Agra was built by King Akbar in 1601. It took 12 years to stand properly and it was designed and its construction started in 1589. It is situated within the premises of Fatehpur Sikri which is about 53.64 meters in length and 35 meters in width. It is symmetrical and is attached by kiosks known as Chhatris. The roof comprises of small minars in white and black marbles. Its height is 40 meters and 10 – 13 meters below the ground. It is the huge or we can say largest gate of the world contains 15 storeyed height.

It was made after when Akbar had his victory over Gujarat. It is made up of marvelous red sandstones, beautiful black and white marbles, remarkable carving and precious architecture. We can see an inscription on the inner and central façade of Darwaza is a message given by Jesus Christ that "Do not consider this world as their permanent home". Tourists from all over the world visit this place in masses.

Fatehpur Sikri is located at a distance of about 35 km away from the main city Agra. Tuhir Das was an architect made this monument using Indian architecture. Monuments within Fatehpur Sikri were made using Islamic elements in combination with jain and hindu architectural styles. Usage of red sandstones in the monuments was a basic thing which is also known as Sikri sandstones. It is about 2 – 3 kms high and width is about 1 km. Fatehpur Sikri comprises of many gates namely Agra gate, Lal gate, Birbal's gate, Chandrapal gate, Delhi gate, Chor gate, tehra gate and Aimere gate.

When Rana Sanga was defeated by Mughal Emperor Babar in a battle in a place called 'Sikri', the name of this place was emerged popularly known as "Fatehpur Sikri". It's a world heritage site of UNESCO. It comprises of a splendor structure within the premises namely Salim Chishti Dargah which was made in dedication to a saint who had a prediction about Akbar that he will be having a son. The saint's name was Salim Chishti. The Fatehpur Sikri comprises of a world's largest Gateway popularly known as Buland Darwaza along with Jama Masjid, Salim Chishti Tomb, Ibadat khana, Diwan-e-am, Diwan-e-khas, Mariam-uz-zamani palace, Pachisi court, Nobat Khana and Panch Mahal. This Masjid is situated in opposite side of Agra Fort was built in 1571. It is also known as 'Friday mosque'. It comprises of two thrones that are attached to the terrace, adorned with marvelous stones, wooden ceiling made up of gold, three sides are opened contains five arches, chambers were adorned with spectacular inlay work, floral patterns were used, borders of the hall contains unique beautiful carvings, interior halls are inscription Persian language adorned with black stones, leaves on the interior walls were adorned with silver to dedicate it to sun rays with a unique architectural designs.
