Geography Of Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh is located at latitudes of 26°28' N and °30' N and longitudes between 91°30' E to 96°30' E. this state is situated in north-east part of India comes in Seven Sister States of India. The capital of this state is Itanagar and it is the main and largest city of Arunachal Pradesh. This state is surrounded by Myanmar in east, Bhutan in west, China in north and Nagaland in south. This state is popularly known as 'The land of rising sun". The total geographical area covered by this state is about 83,743 km2 and preserves total population of about 1,382,611. Arunachal Pradesh houses 12 prime towns, 3862 villages and 17 districts. This state also consists of 500 bird species, 5000 plant species and 85 mammal, reptiles, insects and butterfly species. The rivers which flow within the state are Tirap, Lohit, Brahmaputra, Siang, Subansiri and Kameng.

Economy Of Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh has the lowest GDP that accounts to be 1,090 US Dollars. Very less tourists visit in this state that's why this state receives less income. Arunachal Pradesh comprises of Agricultural sector and forest sector. The economic sector of Arunachal Pradesh supports small scale industries like units for fruit preservation, mills of rice and so on. This state also preserves forest products like pulses, ginger, rice, oilseeds, sugarcane, millets etc. this state has a specialty of having Hydro-electric power generation. The visitors can only travel within the city after having a permit from tourists department.

Education Of Arunachal Pradesh

The educational system in this state is not developed. Most of the educational institutions are running either through NGOs and Vivekananda Kendra. The main educational institutions of this state are Arunachal University or Rajiv Gandhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru college, Rajiv Gandhi Government Polytechnic, Himalayan University, Demmed University, Pali Vidyapith, NERIST (North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology), Arunachal Law Academy and Tomi Polytechnic College.
